Networking & Crafting at the Bracelet Bar

Activations

The Client & Event

Annual customer conference for 600 attendees located in Austin, Texas for an SaaS company. This company has grown into the world’s leading human insight platform that enables companies of all sizes to experience what their customers experience.

The Challenge/Goal

Our client requested a fun and interactive activity to help conference attendees break the ice, network, and ultimately create connections.   They were looking for a creative activity that did not involve alcohol, was easy to learn, and quick to complete during conference breaks. A bonus would be if attendees could create something that was meaningful to them, they could take home, and ultimately reminded them of their conference experience.

The Results

Building off the popular friendship bracelets from Taylor Swift’s recent Eras tour, RockIt Events sourced and partnered with DIY Austin Studio to build a Bracelet Bar activation into the main networking times of the conference. Attendees had hundreds of bead colors, letters and symbols to choose from to create their own personalized bracelet. Some made bracelets with their co-workers incorporating industry terms or inside jokes. Others made bracelets for their special family members back at home. While others just made bracelets for the fun of it and the opportunity to meet people throughout the conference. The Bracelet Bar was packed non-stop with attendees who enjoyed the break from the conference and went home with a positive and memorable experience they could easily share with others.
